The Sfogliatella tablecloth takes its name from the well-known Neapolitan dessert in which sheets of fragrant pastry overlap to enclose a heart of cream, similarly this border encircles the center of the tablecloth creating an extremely elaborate tablecloth of incredible practicality in use. The overlapping of four layers of linen gauze, each finished with contrasting embroidery stitch, the result of meticulous craftsmanship, gives the tablecloth an unparalleled effect of lightness.
