Readme Lamp

Lamp handcrafted by our atelier from vintage books and linen. The books are carefully selected and reworked one by one by our artisans to give this product a unique look. The abat-jour is also the result of Borgo Delle Tovaglie's careful craftsmanship: light and transparent hand-sewn pure linen gauze that dresses a lightweight metal frame. E27 lamp holder. Each lamp is accompanied by a numbered certificate of authenticity. The lamps in the Readme series, are handmade in Bologna one by one with long meticulous processes that make them unique, non-repeatable pieces. They are the result of long searches for old or antique books with specific characteristics and then very slow workmanship with tasteful choices and well-thought-out combinations, among sheets, sheet music, antique papers, strings..., all sealed with our mark on the sealing wax to guarantee their uniqueness and authenticity. Readme lamps, are then completed by the precious pure linen gauze lampshades also sewn entirely by hand by our artisans in Bologna.
